Coaches,
First off I'd like to thank you for volunteering for the upcoming Spring season!
The AREA (8U - 19U) coach meeting will be held Thursday, February 27th at Burnett Elementary school at 7pm. Please save the date and time in your calendar as this meeting is required for coaches to attend. This is were you will receive all the necessary information in regards to the Spring season.
Team Drafts (8U - 19U) will be Friday February 21st. This is an invite only event and only coaches can attend. Location and times will be sent out in a separate email.
Hawthorne will be hosting a 10U coach class at Dana Middle School on February 22nd. This is a golden opportunity for any coach in the 10U, 8U, 7U & 6U division that have yet to be certified. You can register for the class on AYSOU.org Please pass this information on to anybody you know who maybe interested in taking the course.
We're also working to set up a 12U Coach Class. The details for this class are not yet available. As soon as I have the details I'll pass the information along to you.
Wait-lists have begun for certain divisions. This is due to a lack of certified volunteer coaches for that division. If you know of any coaches that would like to coach in the Spring season please have them contact me ASAP so that we can get these players off the wait-list and onto the field.
